We are Brown’s Lakeside Larder and we’re passionate about stocking and supporting small and local producers.  We’re named after Lancelot ‘Capability Brown, the very famous landscape architect who was born at Kirkharle Courtyard and are located next to his serpentine lake.

Inside (and online) you’ll find food (many items are not found in supermarkets), beverages and gifts for all occasions, and most support independently owned small businesses found in our locality.
